Salt Therapy or Halotherapy
Do you have a respiratory condition like asthma, allergies, and chronic bronchitis? Or do you deal with eczema or psoriasis?
You may benefit from Halotherapy!
What is Salt Therapy or Halotherapy?
Salt therapy or Halotherapy, uses a halogenerator to grind up pharmaceutical grade salt into a salt aerosol that is dispersed into the air. The environment is constantly monitored to maintain the optimum dry salt aerosol (DSA) concentration. The halogenerator creates negatively charged ions which are released into the air and then inhaled. These negative ions attach to the positive ions (toxins) in the body, neutralizing the charge, thus promoting detoxification. (Similar to a Neti-Pot, but for your lungs)
Our salt room uses Himalayan salt, one of the purest and most highly regarded salts. It is imported from Pakistan, mined in the Himalayan Mountains. Himalayan salt naturally contains 84 minerals and elements that are found in the human body. Salt by nature is anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, making dry salt therapy effective for skin and blood microcirculatory conditions.
Halotherapy may help to significantly:
Reduce the need for inhaler and/or nebulizer treatments
Clear mucus and phlegm from the lungs
Improve and strengthen the immune system
Alleviate breathing issues- allergies, sneezing, coughing, snoring
Minimize skin irritations such as eczema, psoriasis, rashes
Aid in reducing the common signs of aging
Promote increased absorption of food in the gastrointestinal tract
Support healthy sleep patterns
Enhance libido
